A "combination class" is a class that contains instruction in TWO or THREE different genres of dance, which can include ballet/tap, ballet/jazz, acro/jazz, and more. Combo classes for younger students age 3-7 teach rhythm, musicality, and creative movement while introducing the fundamentals of the genres. They are designed with fun and gentle, age-appropriate coursework for the young dancer's physical, emotional, and social skills as they explore vocabulary and music. Objectives center on inspiration, self-expression, creativity, and imagination. Combo classes are a wonderful way to establish an early love of learning in these disciplines. Older students who take combination classes benefit by exploring two or more genres to determine the best fit.
